AKAG's Trading Division is currently at the forefront of development in Bahrain. With over 75 years of history and experience, the Trading Division stands as one of the Group's longest established entities. As pioneers in the supply of steel and timber to the Bahrain construction industry, the division has forged ahead over the years to develop into a truly diverse business focusing on and servicing three principal areas: Building Materials, Industrial Products and Services and Fitness Equipment Supplies.

In the mid 1980's the Trading Division branched into Industrial Products and Services winning a number of prestigious supply contracts from major industries, power plants and government departments. Through state-of-the-art technology and ties forged with world-class manufacturers and suppliers, the Industrial Products and Services arm of AKAG successfully addresses the encompassing requirements of all sectors in the field: Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Manufacturing sectors and Water & Sewerage.
